ABOUT ME |
I Love Teaching!!
Just a little about me:
2019-2020 will be my 13th year teaching special education. My undergraduate is from Montana State University Billings My graduate degree is from Walden University |
My endorsements include:
Special Education preschool through twelfth grade Elementary Education kindergarten through eighth grade Educational Technology preschool through twelfth grade Some of my certifications and training include Sensory Teaching Trauma Informed Teaching Applied Behavior Analysis Traditional Games Teacher Trainer (Blackfeet Native American Games) I often say "Teaching is my jam!" it is the peanut butter to my jelly... You get my point, I truly LOVE teaching!!
Ms. Frizzle from "The Magic School Bus" is my hero. I even own a few of my very own Mrs. Frizzle dresses, just a few :) Ms. Frizzle says it best, "Take chances, make mistakes, get messy!" This is very much how I teach. We learn through our mistakes and errors. You will also notice, we are NEVER wrong in my classroom, we can be incorrect and we can make a mistake/error, but we aren't wrong. We are learning! If you walk into my classroom, you will see us learning in a multi-sensory way! Some students might be on our interactive board, some might be in our reading corner, some in our sensory corner, some at tables in chairs or some on the floor with crayons. Each child learns differently, it is my job (and joy!) to to help figure out the best way to make this happen! |
